The forestry service seeks to close the Homeplace in LBL due to budget cuts which will dissolve jobs for 7 interpretive naturalists.  The Homeplace has multiple "farm" animals which will also require relocation.  The Homeplace is an 1805s working farm and living history museum.  It provides an amazing educational opportunity to both old and young, local and those visiting the area.  There are only 3 interactive, educational units in LBL to draw visitors, each unique providing a valuable and fun experience and is the only activity on the south end to the state the national recreation area.   It draws people in and teaches them more about farm life in Western Kentucky and West Tennessee, as our fore fathers lived it.  To lose this gem would be criminal and every effort should be made to save it.  Thank you
