Rand Paul's wife invested in Gilead in February of last year. They manufacturer of a drug (remdesivir) that treats patients after they get Covid. This was not reported in the 45 day window required by law, it took 16 months to report.
Why would a Senator who is openly telling people to not get vaccinated or wear masks investing in a company that treats Covid (not prevents the infection)? Are we just a payday for Paul?
The bottom line is that rules were broken and the optics appear as if he wants more people to get Covid. I am asking for rules to be followed and consequential action to be taken. RAND PAUL NEEDS TO AND MUST RESIGN.
