Unfair school system
Unfair school system
Why this petition matters
Educators build the foundation of education, and as parents we are an integral part in our children’s success.
This petition is for all of the teachers, parents, and students. Students are neglected and are forced tests on concepts which are irrelevant to what is being taught.
This petition is made to request a change in the manner that testings are conducted which are totally out of context from what is being taught to the students affecting their grades. If your child is in the high school these grades will negatively impact their GPA which in turn will jeopardize their college admission in the future.
Grading also needs to be put on hold due to the present pandemic situation & the uncontrollable technical difficulties faced by both students as well as teachers. The current grading system does not justify our children’s capabilities. This is having our students underestimate their caliber and discourage them to use their potential to the maximum.
Parents have become clueless on what their child is learning and we are forced to abide by the rules our county is applying. Students have become experimental and a statistical value to everyone. Not only are the students and parents suffering, the teachers are also. Our teachers are forced to follow unrealistic plans by the schools and the district which are not humanly feasible. This is affecting teacher’s efficiency, student success, and teacher’s relationship with the parents and the students. As a result students are failing that will lead to the failure of schools and the district eventually.
Overall in these difficult times where already students are struggling to cope up with the education difficulties, these little changes can make a a huge impact on overall success of both the students and the education system. These points are very serious to be noted and definitely need an immediate action before situation gets worse and out of control.
Please help us get maximum signatures to inspire a change for the betterment of student's education.
