hi my name is brit'tany craddock  I have 8 children 6bio 2 step kids 

my step kids have been mentally and physically abused by their mother and we have been in the middle of fighting to have them safe from her but the courts are not helping at this point and CPS is taking their steps but these things take too long and their mother is a big liar and smart about how she presents herself in court we have videos of her fighting our daughter when she was 15years old and then coming and threatening me and our daughter with pliers to beat our faces in but the court didn't look at the evidence and only granted protection for my husband and they didn't speak to the children nor acknowledge their pain in any way . our kids my step kids have been dealing with this abuse for their whole lives and they are now 14years old and 16 years old . all kids should respect their parents but my step daughter has tried to move past this in a way none of us would want her too, due to her bio mother .if we can get it in place that children old enough like other states have in place ,can decide which parent they feel safer with and the parent can provide and take care of them they should be able to choose who they want to live with so that they can live and in peace and be successful and happy . I know so many people who have been through this stuff and worse and grown people just set by and let it happen we cant do that . some things we didn't know but now that we do we cant let this go on
