With the epidemic of Covid 19 schools have been forced to switch to online schooling. Teachers assign homework to last a week at a time, but at what cost? So many students are giving up because they often feel overwhelmed with homework. Even though it may not all be taken for a grade the teachers still push for it to get done. On top of freaking out over homework,  the testing requirements are far from helping as well. You already had EOC testing waved, but what about the other tests that need to be passed for graduation? For example, there are three tests that must be passed to be able to graduate. One is the Citizen's test, another is the Missouri Constitution test, and the last is the US Constitution test. In most cases for schools, two of those are combined into one. However, even though that combination technically makes one test count as two, students are still panicking over it. Although Covid is coming to a close, panicking for the students statewide has just begun. Those who have already taken and passed the government class don't have to worry about this, but everyone who has attended this class for the 2019-2020 year does. There is word spreading that it is in the process of being tried to pass it for at least the seniors but that leaves everyone else losing their sanity. Holding students back this year is not allowed but if it keeps going some students may have to retake classes anyway. Government students have known about the requirements but are just now being pushed information to study. All of us who have given everything we have to keep our grades up would hate to have to take the class over again just to remember what they need to to pass. You may think online testing is an option, but it shouldn't be. There are so many ways to get away with cheating if one would wish that it is unreal. You can't monitor at home testing at all. Plus what is the purpose for it? Is it to ensure that we understand the purpose of government? If so don't we already portray that by passing the class? There is no other word for any other classes having any requirements, so why are there for this one?
