This project unfairly burdens landowners without a corresponding proportionate benefit to the citizens of the state of Missouri. Eminent domain should be used only in extreme circumstances, and should not be used for private corporate gain. This project also presents health risks to the citizens of Missouri living close to the line.

There is nothing "green" about this transmission line that is supposed to carry "clean power". This will do untold damage to communities and property owners along its proposed path.

I strongly oppose the use of eminent
domain by private companies.
Eminent domain is a threat and a
tactic used to intimidate .
We have one and one half miles of pipelines crossing a 120 acre farm.
The damage done is irreparable in
many ways. The value of the farm
is greatly reduced because of the use restrictions for building structures, planting trees, building ponds ect.. Being forced to endure
these consequences for a onetime
payment is a travesty. At the very least there should be annual payments. The devaluation of a property would be offset to a degree
as an annual payment would be some incentive for a future buyer.
As it stands now landowners have to endure the disruption and depreciated value.
Thank you,
Joyce Burnett
