The Springfield News-Leader published an article about the seizure of $130,000 cash from 13 massage parlors here in town (SGF, MO) operating as covers for a sex-trafficking ring. The article states "It's unclear what will eventually happen to that money, but a spokeswoman for the Missouri State Attorney General said the money is currently in the possession of the highway patrol." That money should be donated directly to a program to fight human trafficking here in Missouri. Two suggested organizations working to fight sex-trafficking here in Springfield and Missouri are Go:61 and Stand Against Trafficking. Below is a link to the article in question. Thank you.
