Home owners want 24 hour noise permit removed from Imperial Oil pipeline construction.

Home owners want 24 hour noise permit removed from Imperial Oil pipeline construction.

Mississauga has granted Imperial Esso a 24 hour noise exemption while replacing a pipeline from Waterdown to Finch.
This noise exemption allows Imperial to work 24 hours a day through The City of Mississauga especially affecting home owners on the north side of Hwy 403 between Winston Churchill and Erin Mills Parkway. They have been working as an example at 2:30 am as well as 5:30 am in the early morning hours.
We are asking Missisauga to revoke this exemption that they granted without consultation.they should allow them to work from 7 am to 7pm. Monday to Friday only with no weekends so that we can sleep and use our yards.
This project is from May 2021 to November 2021.
IT involves Mississauga residence from Ward 8, 6, 4 and 3. For more information see imperialoil.ca/waterdowntofinch or email questions@imperialon.ca
Matt Mahoney from Ward 8 as well as Mr. MIKE CECCONI FROM IMPERIAL OIL have both been contacted and are aware of the noise, light and air pollution. They have not fixed the problem as the heavy vehicles are continuing at all hours of the day. This is disrespectful of the residents paying taxes in the City of Mississauga.
Please help us fight this noise exemption by signing this petition.
