Recently, I made a petition regarding replacing the statue of racist colonizer Christopher Columbus with a metal musician, after receiving some criticism, I realized the statue should be of a POC musician.
I introduce you all to Terrance Hobbs, the founding guitarist of the band Suffocation. Terrance is one of the og’s of the death metal sub-genre that would later become “slam death metal”. POC’s have a huge place as founders in the modern music scene, and that should be honored.
