The young people of our generation are facing living expenses struggles that have never been faced before. The average 2 bedroom apartment increases in price by 10.9% every year, making the dream of even owning a home seem more and more unrealistic. The youth in our country are not provided with the proper education on personal finances to try and battle this ever daunting market.

Our young people need to be provided with proper personal finance education starting in elementary school and continuing onto their secondary education. The ministry of Education needs to push forward new mandatory curriculum to help better prepare the new generations coming into the housing market.
