Millions of girls in India bear their periods in shame.
The lack of affordable hygienic sanitary napkins, pads and tampons makes this already painful time more uncomfortable. The indignity of having to make-do with rags, paper and other unsanitary products makes it a health risk. Access to sanitary menstrual products at cheaper rates will also enable many girls to complete their education. They do not have to abandon their academic pursuits just for'that time of the month'. We need to take a decisive stance to enable menstruation safety.
This is a basic need!
Periods are not dirty using unsafe products is!
Sanitary napkins are a necessity not a luxury.
Price it as such.
