The rights to live freedom is one of the main human rights. This is the most basic right that should be owned by all human. Unless, there are humans who seizing other human rights, then the law is obliged to give punishment in the form of freedom restriction or imprisonment to giving deterrent effect.

Then what if someone does not seize the rights of others and does not violate the state law / rules but must feel the confinement?

What if those who have never made a mistake should to be stuck only because of their illness?

Isn't the sick person supposed to be treated and healed instead of being locked up without caring?

In United Nation Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) written principles for the protection of persons with mental illness and the improvement of mental health care

This principle adopted by General Assembly resolution 46/119 of 17 December 1991. In the first principle written some verse that written :

Fundamental freedoms and basic rights

1. All persons have the right to the best available mental health care, which shall be part of the health and social care system.

2. All persons with a mental illness, or who are being treated as such persons, shall be treated with humanity and respect for the inherent dignity of the human person.

3. All persons with a mental illness, or who are being treated as such persons, have the right to protection from economic, sexual and other forms of exploitation, physical or other abuse and degrading treatment.

Health is everything that has a diagnostic analysis. Health is not only physical, but also mental or psychological health. So when there are people who have mentally and psychologically illness, they should be treated medically as well

People with psychiatric disorders have the right to get medical help at the Mental Hospital and are handled by psychiatrists to be cured. Bridle isn't a way to cure people with psychiatric disorders. Repressing does not cure at all, it only makes the mental and psychological sufferers become more burdened.

According to the Ministry of Social Services, currently there are still as many as 18,000 people who are experiencing curbing. The most widespread cases in East Java, especially in Lamongan Regency. The basic reason for residents who put their family members in a mental disorder to get curb in bridle because they do not want to disturb their neighbours.

This is issue when the role of the Regional Government is required to be more sensitive toward the conditions of the poor who cannot afford medical treatment in Mental Hospital. The local government must help provide the ease of medical services for patients with psychiatric disorders so that the case of the arrest and curbing no longer occurs. Local governments and the Ministry of Social Services are also expected to focus on providing conseling to families of patients with psychiatric disorders that the bridle is not reducing the problem but actually adds to the problem because the sufferer is increasingly psychologically depressed.

Help me to encourage the Ministry of Social Services to be more responsive in reducing the number of cases in Indonesia.
