Pension for disabled persons

: Dear Sir

Under ministry of social justice and empowerment some amount 1000 or 1500 rupees is paid as monthly pension to disabled children with a condition that the  family income should not be more than ₹ 75000  per year. My petitions are

1 what if a child is an adult and is unemployed doesn't he or she have the right to get a monthly pension he/she doesn't have a single ₹ income.

2 Even if the child is not adult and the family earns good enough the monthly pension should still be given in the form of recurring deposit so that after the death of parents these deposits are used for the welfare of the child by the guardians and the child is not considered as a liability for them. Please consider the above facts and amend the pension scheme.

Even if a child gets ₹1000 per month as recurring deposit which he/she is not allowed to use by the age of 50 a person will get at least ₹600000 + interest which would be approximately around ₹800000, so on an average a disabled person might get around ₹14 lacs at the age of 50.

This amount then further should go into a trust formed by the parents for the expences which the guardian will will not have to bear. Thus a disabled person will never become a liability on the Guardian & Goverment will also have a track of the PWD specially after issuance of UDid cards.
