Come on... Big money and legislators are all standing up for petroleum companies. We see what this IS doing. Millions of bags, prolluting in even the smallest community. Don't get me started on creating plastic materials 1 through 7, and only being able to recycle two or three of those materials.
It's time for oil and gas infrastructure to be rid with. Stop protecting old money! Protect us, hear us and TAKE CARE OF US.
This doesn't matter where we live-- plastic plastic is EVERYWHERE.
It's broke, IT'S TIME TO FIX IT.
ZERO WASTE....
For the love of all Holy,
Please.
Our children deserve the same future that we had.
Generation Y is showing you, our parents, the right way--with innovative, life-changing ideas.
We need to ban plastic, all around.
Stop putting blame on consumers... The plastic bag corporation has to go, AT LEAST, until it's wiped out completely-- charge consumers 5 cents a bag. So they remember, to bring in their cloth, reuseable bag for shopping.
Action needs to be taken and we have grown adults not wavering due to their own financial gain-- how do you even go to sleep at night KNOWING that our Earth is choking on plastic?
It doesn't matter who's fault it is-- it matters what we do NOW.
Together. Move forward.
Biodegradable. Eco friendly. Bags.

Plastic Straws trigger alot of effects to our marine ecosystem and being a country that has a turtle nesting site and full of beaches we should ban plastic straws and have metal straws readily available for the public to buy

Each of us has a responsibility to live a life that minimizes negative impact to our planet. Choosing straws made from materials that allow reuse is just one initiative by which each of us can contribute to meeting at least Agenda 2030. #powerofone

I am a Trinidadian expat and seeing the negative impact of single use plastics in our beautiful Caribbean islands and sea is simply appalling. We need to do our part by being renewable and sustainable.
