As residents of Lilongwe Area 43/7 are fed up with the inaction of the Malawi Ministry of Lands to pave our roads as well as install electricity infrastructure despite paying full development fees for our plots. We met with the Ministry of Lands on the same earlier in 2022 and were promised at the least that roads will be graded once the rains stop and before the new rains begin in December 2022. None of this has been done to date. We also followed up on Escom where a quotation was issued by Escom to the Ministry of Lands. To date, there is no action taken. We want action now!
