Nation has seen great growth with digitalization in last 2 decades and so does the standard of life improved at all levels. Undoubtedly, great hard work of millions of  employees from IT has contributed to this growth and continuing to do so. with changing technologies and market conditions, every individual has started investing him/herself at an unprecedented pace. As in developed countries (where major software exports are targeted), Indian employees shall have equal opportunity to explore and excel in the career with the freedom of choosing the right career opportunity. The growing poisonous culture of locking employees to current organizations for period of 90 days (3 months in India while employee of same organization can exit in 2 weeks in development countries) is restricting ones freedom to chose what he wants to do. There is a need for a standardized norm from Labor department to limit this period to not more than 30 days and help the current next generation with freedom to purse their career.
