I'm signing because enough is enough! I have had a near rape experience. I know what it feels like to be helpless. There are lots of cases of rape in our country and a whole lot o people dying in silence because of the stigma they would likely face. It's unfair that these people are free to roam the street and take just because they are at an advantaged position. We need to put them away! I speak and sign for all those who are too afraid to do so. For all the women out there suffering in silence!!!

as a women right activist, i sign this because i, from reading some of the petition, understood that she talked about rape culture. a rape culture is where a women being blamed for sexual assault which is a disgusting thing. but i did not understand in the petition if she had report the incident to the police, my stance is she should have so that justice can be served and to make sure the alleged offendors cannot harm any other women.

I'm signing because it's about time we sign it into law. It's about time we stop looking at women as properties and of the weaker sex. It's about that justice needs to start in Nigeria and nobody, I repeat should be above the law.

In support of any rape victims of any sort or age as long as they were tried in and convicted by peers of the same accused within a court that respects and recognizes fairness and equity. Rape, regardless of who committed it, should be recognized for the crime against women and humanity that it is.

I am signing because, rape is a big deal. A lot of people don't understand the psychological trauma that comes with being raped. Everyone tells you to hush and never talk about it and when you do the people and culture make sure that the victim becomes the accused "maybe you enticed him" and the likes. I have seen and heard of 7, 8, 10 years old being raped, I want the people and culture to explain how a girl of such age enticed or seduced the man. Rapist are always looking for the next victim & regardless of age rape is wrong. I stand with sugarbelly on this one.

Rape is evil!! It is the worst crime against womanhood and humanity, perpetrated by animals in human form. Every act of rape should be thoroughly punished, and every victim deserves justice #istandwithsugarbelly
