School going kids in the age group of 10-16+ are increasingly getting addicted to online games like PUBG and Fortnight etc. these are very violent games. It is leading to excessive aggressive behaviour by the kids at home with parents. The kids are playing in teams for hours together  as long as 6-7 hours also at a stretch. This is leading to very poor attention span in studies and  violent behaviour at home. Also the social interaction is becoming more screen based.

GOI a must take stringent view of this scenario as it is affecting our core education system and kids at an early age are getting impacted adversely. Any generic survey taken with school going kids would bear out the popularity of these games with this audience.

We as Indians are a thinking race and that’s how we should be. Excessive and cheap data availability  is leading to a situation that kids instead of focusing on studies are hooked on to these games. This is leading them into a gaming trap. In this digital age as parents it’s not possible to keep kids away from gadgets.

We need to safeguard our children from this onslaught and temptation.

Any effective step taken in this direction would be of a great help.
