I am currently at my 3rd trimester, as a pregnant wife, i do believe Husband's support and care is crucial for the wife and the child, after all it takes 2 side of parents to parent a child to go up as a proper contributing citizen to the country.

My husband had to save his annual leaves to take leave during the paternity period...this is not fair ,even for the mother as husband support is important during this period. Husband not being around during confinement period can contribute to post natal depression.

In the USA fathers get a generous paternity leave AND in some companies they also offer fathers a half day to attend their children’s first day of school through elementary school.
