Have the IITs lost their sheen? In India despite of having a huge army of well qualified "engineers" from some top "government engineering colleges" who promise a reckoning to the country by their tech savy mind and engineering intricacies either,

1)Migrate to other countries for Higher studies.

2)Develope an inclination towards administrative sevices and thereby completely leaving engineering background.

Though government spends a large amount of resources, the graduation outcome is very low because,

1)They either donot sit in the placement sessions or leave the companies/institutions/organizations soon after joining it. It still remains a major cause of concern for recruting organization head.

2)The startup culture of our country is in its most trivial phase and it needs the initial push from these top institutions which is nowhere to be seen in this scenario.

This also affect a person who wants to actually work in the field of engineering but due to "those technocrates" they miss the opportunity to pursue graduation from such Institute of national importance.

IITs, NITs are assets of Government of India and it must work solely for engineering advancements, promote academic research and boost startup culture among top brains of our country. We donot lack engineers we lack well qualified engineers.

To reconstruct the engineering scenerio of the country and retain these brights minds into engineering industries the governments should make some concrete measures like, dedicate its top govt institutions like IITD, IITB for technical studies with bonds of minimum service tenure in the field of engineering and PSUs.
