Respected Shri Rajnath Singh,

On October 1, 2017 - GuchuSum Movement Association of Tibet, an organization of Tibetan political prisoners, based in Dharamshala, India organized an outdoor street exhibit of photographs to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1987 pro-independent movement in Lhasa.

Zhu Wenqi , a woman of Chinese origin with US passport disrupted the exhibition by shouting at the organisers and cutting pictures with a big pair of scissors inside the temple gate of HH the Dalai Lama. She not only verbally assaulted everyone Who tried to calm her down  but also attacked  Lhagyari Namgyal Dolkar , the president of  Guchusum Movement Association of Tibet, and a Member of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

Zhu Wenqi also physically assaulted Lhakpa Kyizom, a VOA Tibetan reporter, while she was covering the event. Lhakpa Kyzom says, "I was there covering the event, suddenly, she pushed me to the ground while grabbing my camera and broke the audio device on the camera."

Tibetans and supporters in India and around the world are outraged by this violent act of Zhu Wenqi and request your office to take immediate legal action against Zhu Wenqi. Her action and intention, beyond doubt, call for the immediate attention of the Ministry of Home Affairs as the proximity of such individual near His Holiness the Dalai Lama's temple may also pose threat to His Holiness' personal security.

Zhu Wenqi's India visa must be revoked and she should be immediately deported from India.
