Rajasthan, here lives the communities who saw Indus Valley civilization, Rajput rule, Mughal rule, Maratha rule and then British Raj. If you compare the history of whole India to Rajasthan's history then you will not be surprised if Rajasthan fills more books. Despite the fact that Young men and women of Rajasthan fill the ranks of Indian Defence forces and largest state of India by size, we are deprived of a basic right in free India. Our language is not recognized, this gives a inferior feeling to millions of people who live in our villages to use their own language. Makes it tough for them to go to Courts, Government offices and English medium schools. We save water, live in most harsh climate of India and yet never complain to get a separate country or even dividing the state in parts. We don't need the support or sympathy of anyone as we belong to a tradition where Aan, Baan, Shaan is everything. We just need the attention of Ministry of Home Affairs to give heed to our long pending request for the recognition of Rajasthani language in 8th schedule of constitution. Our parallel language Gujarati enjoys this respect from the starting. We also request Government to develop a standard grammar and dictionary of Rajasthani language which includes words from Marwari, Mewari, Dhundhari, shekhawati, Khadi boli and others.

Thank you for your support.
