WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, petition to the Privacy Commissioner, Minister of Health and the Provincial Health officer Of British Columbia Canada, to Provide Informed consent regarding the Efficacy of Mask use. 

In these unprecedented times, We understand that schools are doing everything they can to keep children and staff safe during this pandemic. However, as parents WE have concerns. When it comes to children mandated to wear a medical device for extended periods of time that requires informed consent.

Children are not covered by WCB like staff and teachers are. Therefore, as concerned parents we require the provincial government to provide the safety and efficacy data, of prolonged mask use in children against Sars Cov-2 the Delta variant and others alike. This information will be used for parents to make an informed decision for our children.
We require the government to give us informed consent immediately under Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act Division 4 — Public Interest Paramount
Information must be disclosed if in the public interest

25 (1) Whether or not a request for access is made, the head of a public body must, without delay, disclose to the public, to an affected group of people or to an applicant, information

(a) about a risk of significant harm to the environment or to the health or safety of the public or a group of people, or

(b) the disclosure of which is, for any other reason, clearly in the public interest.
