In delhi there are 2 universities DU and IP which have colleges for mbbs .
These two universities conduct counselling separately for their colleges which creates a lot of ruckus because every medical student of delhi applies for both the counselling and is allotted seats in both the universities but eventually joins one and hence wastes a seat.
This leads to no seat allotment for many students despite being meritorious.
In every other state the counselling of all the colleges is conducted by a single body and hence every students gets what he/she deserves .
We would like to request the authorities to do the same in Delhi and conduct the counselling for all medical colleges under one body .
