Improve antiretroviral therapy for women and children

Improve antiretroviral therapy for women and children
I decided to target women and children living with HIV and AIDS who don't get the proper ART treatment they require. This is something that goes a bit unnoticed in Rural communities. Children on ART in rural communities in Zimbabwe remain severely compromised and have unique problems that need multi intervention strategies both at policy and programmatic levels. A number of challenges emerge as barriers to the success of antiretroviral therapy for children some of them being Primary care givers are less informed about HIV and AIDS. Other factors like inadequate access to health services, inadequate access to clean water, good hygiene and sanitation also inadequate access to food and nutrition and most important of all lack of community support and Stigma. This affects their daily lives, school attendance and hospital visits and contribute to the non adherence to antiretroviral drugs. Children are the future and therefore each and every child should have the right to good health despite of the circumstances, especially children with HIV and AIDS if we give more attention to the problems they face we are possibly saving future generations and stopping the stigma faced by these children and women every day. Effective mitigating measures must be fully established and implemented in rural communities of developing countries in the fight for universal elimination of HIV and AIDS
