Retrenched workers continue to suffer in silence. Losing what they have worked hard for because there is no policy that guides how a worker should be treated with after being fired by the state with little to no compensation. These persons have taken loans on the basis that they were going to be employed in the forseeable future. The burden of adjusting after retrenchment has become more difficult to bear. Retrenched workers are taking this opportunity to initiate change.
