Ministry of External Affairs - India: To protest over callous remark by Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik

As a Union government of India, and especially Ministry of External Affairs who engages with the international world on behalf of India, it becomes imperative for the ministry to safeguard the self esteem of every Indian and especially of the supreme sacrifice / martyrdom of Indian soldiers who protect India from external adversaries.

Captain. Saurabh Kalia's case is well known, where Pakistani army or terrorist sponsored by Pakistani army / establishment mutilated body of our brave soldier Captain. Saurabh Kalia and brutally murdering him in the process, before handing over his body to Indian Army. The incident is over a decade old, and yet the government has not taken up the case seriously, forcing the father of brave soldier to lead a lone battle. Under this precarious conditions, in the garb of peace talks, Mr. Rehman Malik, Pakistan's Interior Minister on his visit to India makes a callous comment over Capt. Saurabh Kalia's death, stating he is unaware that death was due to Pakistani soldier or COLD weather, while conveniently dismissing and ignoring the fact that Capt. Kalia's body was mutilated (which can not be the case by weather). The ministry of external affairs under Mr. Salman Khurseed has not registered any kind of protest over the statement, even now, while such step is expected to be taken immediately. Hence I would request Mr. Khurseed to respect sentiments of Indians along with martyrdom of Capt. Kalia, and register a strong protest for such a callous remark by Mr. Rehman Malik
