This is what it says when you are about to explain the problem or the reason for your petition. This particular petition is not going to protect me or my family in particular. It is going to protect an innocent soul of my nation, AND bring hope to such other prisoners.

I am not that good at using bombastic or pompous words to make my petition highlighted. So I shall get straight to the point.

Saving Kulbhushan Jadhav is a second issue now. First and foremost, he has all rights to consular access which he is being denied by the Pakistan Military Court in spite of repeated requests from India and this is the 18th time our request got vetoed. This conduct by Pakistan clearly shows that they have much to hide and moreover no solid evidence has still been shown by Pakistan to prove Kulbhushan Jadhav guilty. This is the main reason why Jadhav's case is being upheld by the shady military courts not the civilian courts.

After the ICJ stay on his execution, we have only earned Jadhav a three month reprieve which ends this August. So we have to have consular access granted to Jadhav first before we go ahead to save him. After revising a number of news articles, there is a way in which we can move the case from the military court to the civilians court. A statement by Pakistani counsel states that Pakistani law provides for the "writ jurisdiction" of the High Court even in a case decided by a field court martial. Since no Indian lawyer will be granted visa for such a purpose, we could hire a sharp legal mind from another country to rush to Lahore and invoke the writ jurisdiction of the Punjab or Balochistan High Court to get the case moved from the military to the civil side which may further facilitate Jadhav's approach to consular access.

I would wind up this petition request by reminding the case of our very own 'Sarbjit', an innocent Indian national convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court and later attacked and killed by fellow prison inmates. We don't want another Sarbjit. So let's sign and spread this petition like wildfire and reach the ears of our External Affairs Ministry and get Kulbhushan Jadhav back to his family, back to his nation.
