The Rousillac Hindu School was burnt down by a bush fire since 2003, it has been 16 years since our community and our children have been moving from one place to the next without a permanent place to call their own. Rebuilding works started on the new building in 2013, to date 75% of that building is completed.Countless meetings were held with the education ministries where assurances were given to parents that the building for the new Rousillac Hindu School will be completed and handed over in 2017.But to date we still await that building, while our kids face many major challenges, the highest on that list though is the already cramped community center has just 2 toilets to facilitate a student population of 175 children. We need our new school now in order for our children to function and perform more efficiently.
