When every institution is reopening   ,why only educational institutions are closed ?

Colleges have been closed since March and many students are still awaiting for any news about college reopening .It has been above 9 months and there is no news about it . College students are from various fields such as botany ,chemistry ,  teaching which requires lab work or practical work  which makes it difficult for them to continue their studies from home .Many of the students lack resources of having a good mobile phone and laptop .Students who used to be in hostel and pgs have left all their stuff over there and have no resources to carry on with studies .

While being in college we are given opportunities to think , grow , know ourselves but by being at home many of us are very restricted due to societal and family pressures .Many of the college students at this time are going through severe anxiety issues and depression .At the time when students have to think about their career prospects and higher education ,they are battling with depression . Students who are from far off places and had been living in hostels do not even get their new semester books . Students with disabilities are going through a lot by not being able to cope up with the online teaching .Blind students do not have any help in their home and towns they are in .Earlier student community would do the reading of their notes , writing the assignment ,etc .

We demand the college and hostels to be reopened so that students who used to live in hostel can come back , students with special needs can cope up with studies , students who are battling anxiety&depression can take proper help . Colleges can be reopened in phases with continuation of online teaching so that everyone can get access to classes.
