On 3rd December 2021, Central Board of Secondary Education, India, conducted the term 1 exam for English Core subject of AISSCE(class 12). The paper had an unexpected difficulty level than the usual expected level of board's paper. Due to this, students couldn't cope up with the difficulties faced in attempting the paper.

As of term 1, the paper was an MCQ type with single option correct and 0.8 marks awarded for a correct attempt and no marks for a wrong attempt or no attempt at all. But, students claimed that the options looked similar and it was hard to decide which option was the correct answer to that corresponding question. Some questions had options which all seemed correct according to the  context of the question, and indeed, it was as the teachers also questioned the same.

Students also claimed that the paper was lengthy and time consuming in Reading and Writing sections and had confusing questions in the Literature section, e.g., what "tone" the narrator.....

As this is the senior year of high school students, their final examination is very crucial for their upcoming future as it will decide their admissions to colleges and universities as well as building a good profile for themselves. Since their first paper was unexpected and difficult, students all over india are now worried for their upcoming examinations respectively. 

We want students to sign the petition for taking strict actions against CBSE for such an unexpected English paper. Only those who think the same must sign the above petition and bring a "change" to the board examinations of India.
