Reliance Telecom recently informed that they are going to shut down their 2G service from 30th November, 2017. But soon after the announcement and much before their closure date, they have stopped their services without any prior notice. Not only that, they have closed down all the customer care service including office, toll free numbers, online help desk, recharge facilities (both online and offline), bill payment options. This has resulted in immense trouble to the customers who were loyal all these years and most of them had their numbers registerd in banks, LPG connection etc.
The pre paid customers don't have a clue what will happen to their account balance and in case of post paid customers, their security deposit is at stake. People are facing a lot of difficulty for MNP as their service are blocked as they can't do the minimum recharge to receive the code required for the process of MNP.
