Why aren't there trade unions in Private sectors for bargainable employees ?
It is violation of "FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION" , Article 19(c) constitutional right .
In Public sector trade unions exists for workers and as well as for Executives .
Likely reason -
I think All Govt favored corporate companies driven growth and abandoned their responsibilities for people's /employee welfare . Politicians now became dependent on companies to generate employment and investment in their states . So they openly side with them and suppress workers and employees .
Due to absence of trade unions in pvt sector , bargainable Private employee suffers following factors
1 Security of Job - Pvt job is not secure as compared to Govt job . When appointed by govt u retire at age of 58-65 depending on the nature of work .
2 Work load - Work load on Private employees is much more than govt employees with no fixed office timings .
3 Holidays - Who doesn't want to enjoy holidays ? Govt give holidays on almost each local/national festivals .
4 Growth Aspects - Govt job offers huge growth aspects to employees .Some banking and insurance sector whereby employees can become eligible for promotion after a certain period of time (say 3 years ) . Where as in pvt sector a person may have to work on same designation to entire life (depending nature of work)
