In 2010, Central University of Jharkhand has started 5years Integrated M.Tech course in Water Engineering and Management which is a specialization of Civil Engineering but after that this degree got some potential issue therefore in 2012, member of Expert committee recommended that degree should be dual degree i.e B.Tech in Civil Engineering after completion of four years and M.Tech in Water Engineering and Management after completion of five years but till now they didn’t follow recommendation and put future of student on risk. We studied all the subjects of civil engineering which is taught B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 1st batch and 2nd batch of this stream passed in 2015 and 2016 respectively but we are not eligible for a single government or private engineering organization job even we are not eligible for to be a water resource engineer because each and every organization keep their eligibility criteria to be a water resource engineer and Civil Engineer is B.Tech in Civil Engineering. We kept all the issue in front of new Vice-Chancellor but he didn’t take any decision. There are about 250 students whose future in dark. We are struggling since last four years but we are failed because of misused power of higher authority and the hard work of us is on the verge of being useless. They are politicizing this issue for their benefit. This is our last hope to get right degree, to make our hard work useful and to win against politically powerful people.
