The Minister of Health

2.Disruption of traffic and pedestrian movement while taking part in the rally.
3. Criticizing the government in a television talk show on the same day.
Dr. Karim has been asked to reply within ten days.
We humbly want to say that Dr. Karim is the Honorary President of West Bengal Doctors Forum, a large Doctors' organisation, which is born with the determination to put an end to the violence against the doctors. He had met you in this capacity on April 2, 2018.
We bring to your notice that -
1. Dr. Karim had taken casual leave on November 14, 2017.
2. Taking part in a protest rally against the unjust suspension of Dr. Arunachal Dutta Choudhury is an expression of our constitutional right- Freedom of Expression.
3, By taking part in a television talk show, where he represented his organisation and criticized the unjust suspension, he exercised his fundamental right- Freedom of Expression.
And we want to make it clear that a Government can not penalize a citizen for his exercise of fundamental rights.
We urge your good self to withdraw this unconstitutional show cause notice .
Thanking you in anticipation,
WEST BENGAL DOCTORS FORUM
