Since the Corona Virus-Covid19 started spreading, no preventions were taken to restrict infected cases from entering our country and no measures were taken later on to limit the spread on the Lebanese territory. The Minister of Health officially declared that the virus is not contained anymore, thus there is no control what’s so ever on the increasing number of infected cases. We do not have the resources, the equipment, nor the spaces for a catastrophe like this to take over the Lebanese population. The only way to limit the cases and be hands-on the spread is to set a 15 days curfew where people must stay home without any contact with one another. A prepared medical team would be on duty for emergency calls of suspicious cases where only ambulances are allowed to visit the case, test him/her and pick them up to a given hospital for treatment. This is an emergency that should be treated with high priority. We need to take immediate action.
