Girls married across LOC- Let them live with their Identity

Please do not force the girls married across Line of Control ( India & Pakistan Border) to change their passports. Please do not close all their doors to go back home. Do not force them to lose all hope of visiting their families in times of need. They have nowhere to go if anything happens bad in their marriage because they are no more citizen of their birthplace.
Many families were divided after 1947 Partition. To keep the relations intact, many divided families get their children married across the border within their relatives to stay connected but these marriages often tear apart the girls. They have to make a tough choice. They have to change nationality to stay in the country with their husband. There are so many girls who do not get to see their ailing parents, they do not get to attend the wedding of their sibling or be a part of any joy back home due to visa restrictions. In case anything goes wrong in the marriage the girls have nowhere to go as she is no more passport holder of her birthplace.
Getting citizenship for both Indians and Pakistanis in each other’s country is also a huge task. Issue them a Spouse visa or residency. If the above request is approved then more divided families could connect with each other without the fear of losing their girl child forever
