The Amazon Rain forest is burning, this is affecting insects, plants, birds and animals. These fires are occurring in the Amazon Rain forest in Brazil. The main reason this is happening is because of cattle grazing. With people in Brazil that cattle graze, the Amazon Rain forest is the land. The Amazon Rain forest this year has had more than 80, 000 fires and it will keep increasing. With the smoke that rises, clouds will absorb it and keep the heat in that may well also contribute to climate change.

Reasons to keep the Amazon Rain forest is it holds 2.5 million insect species, there are  40,000 plant species, 1,300 bird species, 3,000 types of fish and 430 mammals. We do not want to burn the Amazon as it cleans the atmosphere and produces 20% of our oxygen. It also covers 5.5 million square kilometers.

Potential solutions to stop the Amazon Rain forest is first off, stop cattle grazing, Brazilian residents should have a protest. Some other ways could be by getting a huge environment group or reduce the amount of paper we use.etc.

Thank you for reading, and lets stop the Amazon Rain forest from burning!
