Being a Government education department gives you no right or mandate to mess with the young minds of other people's children. Besides this your job is not to practice psychotherapy even if you think you"re qualified.

If children can't pray Christian prayers, why should they be taught prayers that are foreign to Canada's western outlook. Why are non-Christians directing the spiritual formation of Christian children?

Every school should obey the school act. 76 (1) All schools and Provincial schools must be conducted on strictly secular and non-sectarian principles.

(2) The highest morality must be inculcated, but no religious dogma or creed is to be taught in a school or Provincial school.

Im signing because I believe in school systems that are seperate from religion.
The separation of church and state isnt explicitly in regards to Christianity, rather, it is im regards to religious beliefs, and teachings. Meditation comes from Buddhism, and so by forcing students to participate, the Government is forcibly taking away our rights, and forcing their own religion down our Childrens throats.
