Ministry, Government of Karnataka released the official gazetted notification on 15th May 2021 for different Agriculture services called as" Karnataka Agriculture service ( Recruitment) Rules "

These new rules contains the  information about the method of recruitment and minimum qualification for different posts in Agricultural services.

For Agricultural officer (AO) and Asistant Agricultural officer(AAO) posts, 15% is reserved for B.Tech ( Agricultural eng) or B.Tech(Food Technology)or B.Tech(Bio technology).But woeful thing is they are recruiting the AICTE accredited and other universities graduates who got graduated under above technical courses for Agricultural services of different posts along with ICAR Accredited agricultural graduates.

As AICTE is provides only technical education there is no relation between AGRICULTURE/ICAR  and AICTE  , Because ICAR is the only Supreme institute for agricultural education and research works.

Already under ICAR  there are many institutes and  universities which are providing technical education along with Agriculture , hence there is no need of AICTE accredated colleges and other University graduates to  involve in the agricultural jobs because it will affect badly on the future of lakhs of students and future of agriculture will get effected,
