I think that the HS2 rail link is a preposterous waste of Tax Payers money, for a journey that only a small proportion of the people with take, even if it does knock 20 minutes of the journey.  The massive changes that COVID has had on us all, has made big changes in the way we work, and where we work.  The numbers travelling has dropped massively.

The general public need an NHS and Social Care system that is not bugling at the seams, with not enough funding to ensure the care and safety of us all.  COVID has taken it's toll on our loved ones and all the fantastic Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Health Care workers and auxilliary staff, who work so hard for us all.  The other cost from COVID is the delay in treatment and operations, causing pain and suffering to so many people, and sometimes loss of life because of the delay. The billions being spent on HS2 should be redirected to the NHS, to help the many not the few!
