I want you to bring the National Football Academy to Dundee.

Tell Dundee East MSP and Sports Minister, Shona Robison, that you want her to bring the National Football Academy to Dundee.

Letter to
Minister for Sport Shona Robison MSP
I want you to bring the National Football Academy to Dundee.

Dundee is the ideal location for the Academy. We have a long and proud history of footballing excellence, in the professional clubs, juniors, amateurs and schools.

I urge you to consider the following points:

*Dundee is the only major city in Scotland without a UEFA standard indoor football pitch. The Football Academy would bring this.
*Dundee has more people who play football per head of population than any other of the 32 councils in Scotland.
*Most national facilities are in the central belt. The West coast is getting a lot of sports investment for the Commonwealth Games so it’s only fair that the East Coast and Dundee should be considered for the separate academy investment.
*Our City is ideally located in good travelling distance of all major locations in Scotland to host a national sports facility.
*The National Football Academy would be a great boost to our local economy.
*Over 5,000 Dundonians have already signed up to the campaign by Jenny Marra MSP calling on the Academy to be built in our City.

I am ambitious for our city. Please decide that Dundee should be the location for the new National Football Academy.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
