The new motor vehicle Act is being implemented with lots of josh & enthusiasm but it must be ensured that the normal citizen is NOT penalised for not authenticating the information which is held with authorities and is readily available on many digital platforms. There are many apps easily available for free on which full details of any vehicle registered in India can be known just by filling the vehicle’s registration number. Details like name of the owner, type of vehicle, engine capacity, validity date of registration, type of fuel used, validity of insurance  etc etc. 

2. My point is that why a person not carrying registration papers or insurance papers   of the vehicle is challenged & fined whereas, the entire information can be checked by the traffic Police in a matter of seconds through the apps ? Is this not unnecessary wastage of time, energy & money ? It does cause lots of consequential losses in addition to avoidable embarrassments .
