Diversity Sligo started this petition to Minister for Justice

Funmi Oluwadara lives with her family in Sligo.

Funmi Oluwadara fled Nigeria because the Boko Harum threatened her life and that of her family.  They are reported to commit atrocities. Funmi lost contact with her husband. He was told to join Boko Harum or die.

Funmi came to Ireland with her one year old daughter and gave birth to her son in Ireland a few months later. The children know Ireland as their country, her daughter speaks English and Irish and the two children have made friends here

Funmi has a degree in computer science and would be easily employable here. She has done a lot of voluntary work for charities.

The family recently were told that they are going to be deported.

Diversity Sligo support this family in their challenge to deportation and feel that they should be allowed to live here.
