Stop Portlaoise Hospital Downgrade

Portlaoise Hospital is a vital amenity for Laois and the surrounding areas.
40,000 people attended the A&E in Portlaoise last year Where are they meant to go - to already overcrowded A&E's in Tullamore and Tallaght?
In a life or death situation an hour could be vital.
Creches, community groups, sports clubs, schools all need to have an A&E that is quickly and easily reachable and not overcrowded. Our children have a right to quality care that they don't have to spend an hour travelling to.
People of all demographics use this hospital - young, old, families, sports people, prisoners.
Please sign this petition and share it among your friends - we all have to work together to stop the HSE report recommending the downgrade of Portlaoise A&E today. We need to get the message to the Minister, the HSE and the Government that we won't accept this.
