Proposal for dealing with bullying behaviour in Australian Schools

Victims of bullying behaviour are offered counselling after the affect of the bullying behaviour as the victim can suffer from anxiety, depression, PTSD and developing friendships etc.

I believe it should be made MANDATORY within the NSW school system to add a clause to the NSW legislation of bullying protocols.

Students that are found guilty of bullying behaviour should be made to undergo anger management counselling to help the bully understand the underlying reason why they find the need to bully another human being and then the counsellor/psychologist can provide the bully with tactics and tools to help change the bullying behaviours.

Yes there would be an extra financial cost to the school education system to provide these services of counsellors and or psychologists to provide counselling services and anger management counselling but i believe that there is a greater need to stop people taking their lives because they have been bullied. if we can stop the bullying behaviour from starting in the first place then we can help prevent more lives lost to bullying

kind regards
