HSE - Give 'direct payments' to Kennedy twins Co Wicklow , Ireland

Ann and Margaret Kennedy, disabled wheelchair users with a rare neuro- muscular disease, have been REFUSED 'direct payments' by the Irish health service executive HSE , to become leaders. Direct payments allow disabled people control and power over their own lives. With direct payments the health authority give US the budget to organise , employ and direct how we live our lives. We become 'leaders' in this arrangement. Leaders of our own lives. Our local health authority refused direct payments on the grounds it is not statutorily obligated to give us direct payments. Meanwhile we are trapped in a system of annihilating subservience to health providers. Which means a substandard life. A substandard existence...not living or leading at all. We want RIGHTS , our RIGHTS to manage, control and direct our own lives. We live in co Wicklow Ireland. Please write to Finian McGrath, minister for disabilities, Leinster house, Dublin, Ireland to respectfully demand universal rights to direct payments for us twins Margaret and Ann kennedy and all disabled people in Ireland.
