Responsible Canadian Citizens have been through so much over the last year.  Each province has had to deal with great hardship and difficult decisions.  The vast majority empathize with our Frontline & Essential Workers, and as such have been heeding all the warnings from our CMOH and Government.  Many have also made the excruciating decision to become single income households, while not qualifying for assistance, to help support our children's virtual education. However, the possibility that March Break could be cancelled to help curb Passengers vacationing internationally is just too much.  By denying our children their well deserved break, you are not actually addressing the issue.  It would feel more like further punishment to those that have missed out on seeing loved ones, have lost their jobs, and even worse, lost their loved ones.  The Mental Health of over 2 million students, in Ontario alone, should matter.  If we are truly looking to curb citizens from vacationing internationally then close the airports for 14 days during the affected time.  As many have stated, children show us daily how resilient they are; that said, cancelling March Break in Ontario, should not be the excuse to curb the privileged and disconnected few still looking to vacation internationally.
