Covid-19 is on the rise in Canada and many political people are choosing to ignore the issue rather than take the proper measures to close schools. I am a 10th grade student in Saskatchewan and watching the rest of Canada take the measurements necessary for eliminating this global pandemic while Saskatchewan chooses to ignore the main issue and close schools, it’s aggravating. We are one of the most infected provinces in Canada and I think they need to get that through their minds, hundreds if not thousands of students in Saskatchewan alone are infected but they don’t even close school a week. As a student in Saskatchewan I am asking other Canadians to to sign this petition so we can get it up to the ministry of education. we as the students in school dealing with this very real threat everyday know what is best for us. We know what we need in order to be successful. It’s time the government and the powers that be started listening to the kids and caring about our needs and not what will look better for them and what will further their future political campaigns.
