Mininera & District Football League - stop the violence on the field

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

Everyone whatever age they are, has the right to play football in a safe environment and not to be the victims of violent acts that off the field of play would be called assault.  We are calling on our league to follow in the footstep of the AFL and make it clear that while we play a hard game specific attacks on players are not acceptable.

The consequence of the Mininera & District Football League not dealing with these acts of violence will lead to mothers, fathers, girlfriends, partners, siblings, friends not supporting their loved ones to play.  Players have been king hit and strangled behind play and imagine if it was your son / partner / brother / friend

Country footie has always been a contact sport and should remain so, but fair contact not assault.  We call our on league to make positive change and encourage clubs to ensure that a good game is a fair game.

Please sign this petition ... our many small voices when joined together will become a loud shout that we don't accept this continuing.  Like, share, sign and make it stop
